Luna

Our principal teacher, who is also a talented and exciting performer. Being Zalika's daughter, Luna has grown up with Middle Eastern dance. This has allowed her to develop her dance to a high standard. Her first performance was at the tender age of 8 and since then Luna has become one of Adelaide's top performers. She is best known for her energetic, dynamic performances. Try Luna's free style class, which she likes to call Belly Burn - a fun, aerobic Bellydance workout! Miss Luna Eclipse 

Yes that's right! Luna's alter ego is out on the town and ready to dance! If you're looking to add a little sugar and spice to your week then this is the teacher for you. Luna will share her burlesque secrets on how to Mince, Shimmy and shake your own alter ego back to life. Her classes are loads of fun and attendees come in all sizes, shapes and ages. Miss Eclipse performs at a variety of events and can cater for both family and Adult events such as hen's nights, 21st and anniversary parties. Jewel

Jewel is our Fusion teacher who was brought up on classical Bellydance, much like her sister Luna. From there she tried her hand at American Tribal Style and today Jewel is best known for her unique fusion style which incorporates elements of classical, tribal, cabaret and modern dance. Her performances are often theatrical and characterised. Jewel is also troupe leader of "Bazaar!" and she teaches workshops both locally and interstate.   Jewel's gallery

Zalika

The founder and driving force behind Henna Nights. She had a dream of building a school with a family of teachers each with something different to offer their students. Little did she know that both of her daughters would grow up to fit that bill! Today Henna Nights is considered one of the top schools in Australia offering quality and excellence in the world of Middle Eastern dance. Zalika has over 35 years experience in dance with 19 of those in Middle eastern dance. She has trained some of Adelaide's top dancers. Holly

Holly is our wonderful belly dance student teacher. Although she looks quite serious in her photo Holly is actually as cute as a button and her students just love her! She has an excitable and vibrant personality, which in turn makes her an electrifying dancer. Holly began learning belly dance in our under 12s class when she was only 7 - Now she teaches that same class! When she is not teaching she is performing in our troupe Bazaar, or teamed up with dance partner Jewel, or soloing at Henna Nights concerts and community events.  Holly's gallery.

Siran

Siran is  behind one of Henna Nights popular performing troupes "The Sahara Sisters". She has been with our school a number of years and was very excited when we asked her to join our teaching team. She shares her enthusiasm for the dance and her teaching style is both energetic and full of fun! Siran is also our dressmaker and as you can see she is very good at her job.
